Story: After facing defeat in the under water battle in the Ghazi Attack Pakistan along with China plans another attack on India with China.According to the Indian intelligence bureau they find that in the next ten days there will be an aerial attack for which India isn’t prepared yet.Dev one of the smart agents recently managed to elope from Pakistan army camp with some secret documents suggests IB Chief N.S. Awasthi that they should block their airbase for Paksitan but that isn’t possible until a war is announced.On the other hand Pakistan makes sure that there are no attacks on India for next ten days until their mission as it could alert Indian agencies,Dev finds that a a seventeen year old terrorist Qasim Qureshi is arrested who tried to hijack aircraft of PM’s son and is under custody of cops two identify his fellow mates.Dev sees this as opportunity and along with intelligence bureau makes a plan so that Qasim and his mates hijack a Indian flight without civilians and take it to Lahore airbase.This situation could lead to an act of war and India could then block their airbase for Pakistan.But it is only possible when all Indian agents posing as passengers in the flight return back safely.

Film Review IB71 starring Vidyut Jammwal running in theatres currently #sanjuzzreviews #IB71 #vidyutjammwal #thrillermovie #Espionagethriller IB71 is a espionage action film based on true events that were instrumental in India winning the 1971 war against Pakistan.

With the situation reaching a boiling point in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), the IB gets information about an attack on India by Pakistan who are supported by China. The defence establishment has only 10 days to prevent it. Won’t reveal much as it would spoil the fun.

Rather than being a usual Vidyut Jammwal film with lots of action scenes, this is different, with the focus being primarily on playing mind games to outwit the enemy rather than out and out action. The plan is totally un-guessable with lots of thrills and tense moments that keep you engrossed throughout the length of this 2 hr film.

Jammwal is brilliant as the protagonist and so are the rest of the cast who lend valuable support to him. Grt casting!!

Cinematography is just awesome. Shot in Kashmir in the winters when the blanket of white snow covers the length and breadth of the land, it is indeed a visual delight.

All in all a no nonsense film without any unnecessary sub plots or songs to divert focus from the main plot.

It is unfortunate that good films like these aren’t getting the required no. Of screens which will impact it’s overall collections adversely… sad but true😢😢!! Jammwal is an underated actor who definitely deserves more !!

IB71 comes very close to films like Baby, Holiday, Raazi, Gaazi attack !! Mind game wala film hai, jara dhyan se dekhiyega !!
